YOLO Shawl Crochet Pattern ONLY
YOLO Shawl Crochet Pattern ONLY
Creating the YOLO top-down triangular crocheted shawl promises an exhilarating blend of chance and creativity, turning the crafting process into a delightful adventure. By assigning a distinct color to each number of an eight-sided die, every roll introduces an element of surprise, guiding your color choices in real-time. This whimsical method not only makes each stitch feel spontaneous but also ensures that your shawl becomes a truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece, reflecting your personal style and the unpredictable joy of crafting. The excitement of not knowing which colors will come next adds a playful twist to the traditional crochet experience, making the journey as enjoyable as the finished product!

Gauge:
In this triangular construction, gauge is not critical. The dimensions are easily customizable! A tighter gauge will result in a smaller, denser fabric, while a looser gauge will create a more open, drapey effect. Your finished size will simply vary based on how many repeats you choose to work and when you run out of yarn! My completed shawl used 330g of yarn or approximately 1385 yards with a finished blocked size of 84" wingspan, and 48" depth.
Difficulty:
Intermediate

Tips
Tips
Although dyed in small batches with the same process, different fibers and artistic mood create a unique finished yarn. Please look carefully at the pictures to be sure you choose the fiber and variation that best suits your project. There is no dye lot for a hand dyed yarn as each skein is unique as it is created! Each skein is truly one of a kind!
It is recommended that you alternate skeins during your knitting or crochet project, to blend out variances that occur within the yarns.
Due to the variances in the fiber blends, twist or plies of the yarn bases, colors may shift or appear to have different tones.

Processing Time
With made to order yarn, the average shipping time is 5 to 7 business days after you place your order. Larger orders may take longer to process and ship, please message us prior to ordering to discuss the processing time for your specific needs.
Care
Care
Super Wash Merino wool is known to be machine wash/dry friendly, but I still recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry to extend the life of the yarn and your project! I carefully rinse and wash the yarn after the dye process, but it is still possible a small amount of color may bleed out in the first wash.
