Color: 24k Gold

50/50 SW Yak and Mulberry Silk Light Fingering Weight. This yarn brings the buttery softness of yak fiber with the added sheen of mulberry silk. Yak fiber is known to be hypoallergenic, and very lightweight yet offering great warmth. With 3 plies, this yarn has beautiful drape and would feel luxurious next to your skin. Elevate any shawl or similar project with this ultra high end fiber blend.

The price is for one Hank/Skein of yarn weighing approximately 100 g with a whopping 500 yards in length.

Superwash Yak fiber is known to be machine washable, but I still recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry to extend the life of the yarn and your project! I carefully rinse and wash the yarn after the dye process, but it is still possible a small amount of color may bleed out in the first wash.

I will gladly “cake” wind your yarn as a courtesy if you purchase from my shop, just please let me know if this is what you desire.

Tips

Although dyed in small batches with the same process, different fibers and artistic mood create a unique finished yarn. Please look carefully at the pictures to be sure you choose the fiber and variation that best suits your project. There is no dye lot for a hand dyed yarn as each skein is unique as it is created! Each skein is truly one of a kind!

It is recommended that you alternate skeins during your knitting or crochet project, to blend out variances that occur within the yarns.

Due to the variances in the fiber blends, twist or plies of the yarn bases, colors may shift or appear to have different tones.

Processing Time

With made to order yarn, the average shipping time is 5 to 7 business days after you place your order. Larger orders may take longer to process and ship, please message us prior to ordering to discuss the processing time for your specific needs.

Care

Super Wash Merino wool is known to be machine wash/dry friendly, but I still recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry to extend the life of the yarn and your project! I carefully rinse and wash the yarn after the dye process, but it is still possible a small amount of color may bleed out in the first wash.
