This hand-dyed sport weight yarn spun from 65% Suri alpaca and 35% silk is a celebration of texture and nuance, for a blend as divine as the light of dawn.
Run a strand of this alongside your favorite yarn and the Suri’s delicate fibers will bloom into a gentle halo, transforming the fabric into a soft, floating cloud. The silk threads shimmer within, lending durability and a luxurious shine, while the alpaca whispers warmth and a surreal, velvety touch.
This yarn invites you to slow down and savor every stitch, imbuing shawls, sweaters, and accessories with a sense of gentle luxury and handmade soul. It js crafted for makers who wish to wrap beauty, texture, and tenderness into every row.
Baby Suri alpaca/Silk is the perfect alternative to people who are sensitive to mohair.

Tips
Tips
Although dyed in small batches with the same process, different fibers and artistic mood create a unique finished yarn. Please look carefully at the pictures to be sure you choose the fiber and variation that best suits your project. There is no dye lot for a hand dyed yarn as each skein is unique as it is created! Each skein is truly one of a kind!
It is recommended that you alternate skeins during your knitting or crochet project, to blend out variances that occur within the yarns.
Due to the variances in the fiber blends, twist or plies of the yarn bases, colors may shift or appear to have different tones.

Care
Care
Super Wash Merino wool is known to be machine wash/dry friendly, but I still recommend hand washing and laying flat to dry to extend the life of the yarn and your project! I carefully rinse and wash the yarn after the dye process, but it is still possible a small amount of color may bleed out in the first wash.
